For any who doesn't know Last Sunday on Easter I was at a point where my leg was in so much pain I couldn't walk and so after a shot of muscle relaxant at the Insta care not working we decided to go to the emergency room. They found fluid in my hip joint and the doctor said I had an immaculate infection which they can't explain and hardly ever see. Of course it happened to me because the Richards just don't seem to have good luck this year. Anyway he wanted to do surgery quickly because otherwise I might need a hip replacement. So they did the surgery drained my hip and after a few days in the hospital, I am now home with a pick IV line going into my chest so that I can administer antibiotics to myself 3 times a day for 4 weeks. Life just can't get any better. Since we have moved in our house we have had Brinklee up at Primarys for 3 days, Makaylee in and out of the hospital for the last 6 months, Brandon with Pneumonia, and now this. We just might have to start the Richards Family Fund for hospital bills! Anyway enough of my complaining because in reality I know there are people out there with way worse problems than we have and it could be alot worse. So I am going to be grateful for what I have and grateful that I am ok. Thank you to all my friends and family who have brought us food, flowers, gifts, and especially helped with my kids. I am very fortunate to have such great friends and family! Love you all

Jen, seriously. Who have you ticked off in heaven? What is an immaculate infection? How did you get it? Are you okay? You know, this all started with that whole marathon malarchy, don't you? I told you it wasn't good for you! Can I come clean your house for you? Can I bring you and your family dinner? How about an exorcist? Maybe you built your house on an old cemetery. I miss you. Get better fast!

So I blogged hopped over here from Buffy's blog! Just checkin to see how you were and what caused the infection. I saw the anesthesia charge come thru and wondered how in the heck you get something like that without prior hip surgeries? Well, one thing I do know is that anytime we have had rough patches with bad luck things have quickly turned around and gotten better!! I'm sure it will for you! Good luck! Glad you are doing ok!
Things can only go up from here, right?! Jen, you are such a trooper. Let me know if you need help with dance stuff or anything else! Get better fast!
