Grateful!

Just when I thought May couldn't get any crazier it did, but I think for the better. To make a long story short we have had a very rough year so far and I think in the last few weeks we have been grateful for it ( well at least some of it.) Makaylee is doing alot better and spiritually our family has grown alot. We all get caught up in our day to day lives that are so busy, whether its dance, sports, piano, church callings, work, life in general. We definately forget what is important and why we are here. As Makaylee would now say-We have to read our scriptures everyday and we have to pray not just at night but in the morning too. And family home evening has to be every week, none of this is an option we have to do it. Even if your kids are little. We should be working on geneology and going to the temple, instead of hurrying to get the kids to bed so we can watch our favorite tv show. Believe me I have been guilty of all of this! We have realized lately just how evil this world is and continues to grow and as my sister in laws stake president said- we are one generation away from our church becoming extinct. Makaylee has taught us alot this past month and I hope we will continue to take her experience and make our family better, and I hope we have touched alot of our friends lives in some way. Thank you to all of our friends and family who have fasted and prayed for Makaylee and for us, we appreciate it and love all of you!!
